Es kann auch für ein größeres Spektrum an Plattformen verwendet werden, vor allem für OSD/BS2000. Die erweiterte Version openFT mit FTAM unterstützt die folgenden zwei Standards: Simple File Transfer und Filestore Management (Anwendungsprofile A/111 und A/13), welche in den internationalen Standardprofilen ISO/IEC ISP 10607-3 (CEN/CENELEC ENV 41204) und ISO/IEC ISP 10607-6 (ENV 41205) definiert sind.
