Die MC4 Stecker sind in der Regel als Paar erhältlich wobei einer als männlicher und der andere als weiblicher Stecker bezeichnet wird die Polarität dieser Stecker ist festgelegt der männliche Stecker ist immer negativ (-) und der weibliche Stecker ist immer positiv (+)
Bei der Verbindung der Stecker ist es wichtig darauf zu achten dass die Polarität korrekt ist andernfalls kann dies zu Schäden an den Solarmodulen Wechselrichtern oder anderen Komponenten führen deshalb stellen sie sicher dass der positive (+) Anschluss des Solarmoduls mit dem positiven (+) Anschluss des Wechselrichters oder der nächsten Komponente verbunden ist
