Microsoft Data Protection Manager 2007 – System State backups of Windows Server 2008 machines failing

microsoftdpm_logo.jpg   When doing backups of Windows Server 2008 machines with MS DPM 2007- the system state backup always fails. To make this work, a 2-way approach is needed – install the MS DPM 2007 Feature Pack (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949779) and make sure the Windows backup Feature Role is installed on the Windows 2008 server you want to backup
