Proxmox Virtual Environment (VE) 9.2.3 – traditional plaintext syslog logs have been replaced by the systemd journal ‚journalctl‘

If you need a traditional ‚/var/log/syslog‘ file for third-party tools or legacy scripts you must manually install rsyslog by running apt install rsyslog on the Proxmox host

# journalctl -f
