Veritas Backup Exec Agent – a known exploit is available in the wild for the vulnerabilities below and could be used as part of a ransomware attack. While these issues were addressed in 2021 as indicated above, Veritas urges all customers to immediately update to Backup Exec version 21.2 or later if they have not already done so. If you have updated to version 21.2 or later no additional action is needed at this time
