   VMware vSAN 6.x – when working with vSAN consider the following limitations

1. does not support hosts participating in multiple vSAN Clusters however a vSAN host can access other external storage resources that are shared across clusters
2. does not support vSphere DPM and Storage I/O Control
3. does not support SE Sparse disks
4. does not support SCSI reservations
5. does not support RDM, VMFS, diagnostic partition, and other device access features
