Atempo Digital Archive has built in HSM capabilities that enable the automatic archival of data based on selected criteria such as file age or last-accessed date. Once a file has been moved to its long-term storage location a stub that acts as a pointer to the file remains on the original storage media enabling easy transparent retrieval of the data by content owners
