Die Standard Edition bietet die wesentlichen Features für die Virtualisierung auf beliebig vielen Hosts inklusive dem Verschieben laufender VMs ohne Unterbrechung und dem Management über die Windows XenCenter GUI. Die Premium Edition beherrscht einige weitere Features wie dynamisches Verteilen von Workloads GPU Virtualisierung und ein Tool das VMware vSphere Installationen auf XenServer umzieht
