VMware vSphere 4.0 – System does not clear RAID controller cache during shutdown

vmware_logo.jpg   If you are planning to use ESX/ESXi 4.0 with RAID controllers using aacraid, megaraid2 and megaraid_sas drivers with attached local storage, we highly recommend that you install the patch recommended in KB 1012794 to avoid possible data corruption
